Rather than assigning a static standard fee, our treasury dynamically calculates an elastic deposit ratio ranging between 30% and 100% of the contract total, based on your absolute order valuation, raw material pooling complexities, and engineering risk metrics. Your precise customized deposit requirement, finalized grand total, and residual billing milestones will be explicitly stated and legally locked within the finalized official quotation and factory-direct sales contract processed by your project administrator.
Once your custom system completes fabrication and an official completion notice is issued, you must settle the full residual balance within forty-eight (48) hours, along with any real-time ocean freight variance based on the actual market rate of the dispatch week, to enable logistics release. If payment is not made and you fail to establish contact with a justifiable reason within seventy-two (72) hours thereafter, the order will be deemed a unilateral default and abandonment, permanently terminated, with all deposits and payments forfeited. If you are located in the United States, the final quotation confirmed at checkout for most standard custom orders already includes standard ocean freight and basic clearance fees; however, if anti-dumping actions or tariff adjustments trigger extraordinary duties beyond industry norms, these must be settled directly by the buyer to customs. If you are located in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, or other GCC nations, the arrangement depends on your project contract: under a DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) contract, the total you pay to Hicome is your fully landed cost, with import duties and local VAT settled by Hicome on your behalf; under a DDU/DAP (Delivered at Place, duty unpaid) contract, you are responsible for contacting the local customs authority and settling the relevant duties yourself upon arrival. Hicome does not provide on-site installation services. Each order is shipped with a detailed installation manual for self-installation or for engagement of a qualified local installer. Hicome bears no liability for damage, structural collapse, or injury arising from self-installation, third-party installation error, non-compliance with the manual, inadequate site assessment, or extreme weather conditions during or after installation. This does not affect your statutory rights relating to a genuine manufacturing defect (see the next question).
Hicome provides warranty coverage for material or workmanship defects verified to have existed at the time of manufacture, with liability limited to the repair or replacement of the defective component.
